Patient Communication

The Messages feature allows your patients to keep in touch with you (their therapist), ensuring that questions and concerns are addressed quickly so the patient feels confident continuing their Care Plan. This portal is confidential and HIPAA-compliant.

When a patient messages you, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your HEP account and an alert will appear in your Messages tab. When you message a patient, they will also receive an email notification (below).

  1. Select Messages.    

  2. To create a message thread, use the Find a Patient search bar.
  3. Next, type out the message to the patient and click Send. Your message will show up in your patient's message tab in their Patient Portal. 

All of your messages to your patients will appear on the left-hand side of the Messages screen. You can also see when the patient has viewed your message.
